Highlights Lac Vieux Desert Fishing Trip

Bob Host and Guide                  True Fish Stories Shared

The Men of the Outdoors began its’ busy summer schedule with a trip to Lac Vieux Desert to spend several days fishing. Despite a little rain and difficult wind conditions fish were caught. A large number of bluegills, nice size perch and northern pike created some enjoyable times on the lake. We spent several hours each day cleaning fish. We did use some of the fish for a very good fish fry. Fishing was just part of the experience. Our times together, building friendships and sharing stories was an important part of our trip.

Again, Bob Dailey served as our host and guide. Bob did an awesome job which we greatly appreciate.

As is our practice we began each day with a devotion. The theme for this devotional series was the importance of getting in Gods’ word and relying it to carry us through life’s challenges. We thank our Loving Father for blessing us not only for the fish we caught, but also the time of fellowship we enjoyed.
