 Our lively chat began with a devotion based on Joshua 1:8

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

 Devotional Thought:

Most guys who hunt turkeys have a number of calls. They have their favorites and some just get stored. The favorites get a lot of use and will show some wear while the stored calls look like new. How does your Bible look?  Does it show signs of usage, or is it shiny and new looking with no wear?  We all need to get into God’s word every day—read it, study it, and meditate on it throughout the day. It is the daily spiritual food that we need to grow.

The Chat:

There were a number of different topics that they guys chatted about. Turkey hunting was one of them. Terry Dorschner, who is heavily involved in the DNR youth Turkey Hunt Program, had an Amish boy wanted to hunt turkeys. The Amish don’t allow guns so Terry is going to pursue helping the boy hunt turkeys with a bow. May God Bless your efforts

 After an hour and a half of a lively chat it was time to get on with the rest of the day.
